Refund Policy

At Custom Inkd, every product is made to order and created specifically for you. Because of the custom nature of our work, we have strict guidelines around refunds, returns and remakes.

1. Change of Mind

We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for:

  • Change of mind

  • Incorrect choice of size, colour, or style

  • Customer-provided artwork issues

  • Expectation differences based on digital mockups vs printed results (minor variations are normal)

All orders are custom-produced and cannot be resold.

2. Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives faulty or we have made an error, we will replace or remake the product at no cost to you.

A claim must:

  • Be submitted within 7 days of receiving your order

  • Include clear photos of the issue

  • Include your order number and description of the problem

Custom Inkd reserves the right to determine whether the product is faulty or if the issue falls within acceptable production variance.

3. Acceptable Variations (Not Considered Faults)

Custom printing and apparel production naturally include slight variances such as:

  • Minor colour differences between screens and real-life prints

  • Small placement shifts (within a few millimetres)

  • Differences in brightness, saturation or texture

  • Normal fabric inconsistencies between garments and batches

These are not grounds for refunds or remakes.

4. Artwork & File Responsibility

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing high-quality print-ready artwork

  • Checking all mockups, spelling, colours, and sizing before approval

Orders approved by the customer cannot be refunded if the error existed in the artwork they supplied or approved.

If artwork requires editing or recreation, fees may apply.

5. Order Cancellations
  • Orders cancelled before production begins may be refunded minus any design/setup time already completed.

  • Once production has started, orders cannot be cancelled or refunded.

  • Micro-store, team store, or fundraiser orders cannot be cancelled after launch.

6. Lost or Delayed Parcels
  • All orders are shipped via Australia Post Express.

  • Once lodged with Australia Post, delays or lost parcels are outside our control.

  • We will assist in lodging an investigation, but refunds cannot be provided for postal delays.

7. Returns

Because all items are custom-made, we do not accept returns unless a product is assessed as faulty by us.

Returned items (if approved) must:

  • Be unused and unworn

  • Be returned within 14 days

  • Be posted back using tracked shipping at the customer's expense unless we request otherwise

8. Store Credits & Remakes

In some cases, we may offer:

  • A store credit

  • A partial remake

These options are offered at our discretion, depending on the issue.
